Sales and Business Development Manager-AucklandPOSITION SUMMARYWe are looking for an experienced sales/business development professional to help us convert large number of sales leads and prospects we have into licensed customers. The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:A New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid New Zealand work visa5+ years proven sales/business development experience in a technology or software Has a relevant degree or tertiary qualification from a recognised establishment2DESCRIPTIONThe primary function of this role is to convert the large number of sales leads being generated into active, successful and growing customers.Follow-up leads and prospects to close sales and generate revenue in line with agreed Build strong relationships and networks with our target customersGrow the product and consultancy customer base internationallyGenerate new prospects and sales leadsOrganise and deliver compelling product presentations either face-to-face or via SkypeCreate a market scope and company assessment based on potential value, opportunity geographical rankingEnsure up to date technical knowledge and up-skill where necessaryAssist with collecting feedback about the product and client needsAssist the team in growing the brand by recognising and creating to increase and strengthen the brand reputationAssist the team in creating marketing material and opportunitiesRepresent the company in a professional and positive manner at all timesDESCRIPTIONWhat were looking for is someone with the following characteristics:Has experience in selling technical products within an on-line environmentHas a knowledge of telecommunications and utility industriesHas worked within the IT industry or within an IT environment within and utilitiesPreferably has some knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and asset systemsMust be proactive and self-motivatedCan function effectively under pressureMust be able and willing to travel for businessExhibits excellent communication skills, and is able to communicate professionally with managementHas an ability to present to both technical teams and managementSomeone who fits in well with our team and wants to make a real contribution: Dependent on experience
