We are currently looking for an experienced Build Manager to take on our build and deployment processes across multiple product channels. The successful candidate will have strong Linux/UNIX administration skills as well as solid experience managing source code.
The Build Manager is responsible for maintaining and improving our build and deployment processes, for overseeing build and deployment tasks for all products, and for working with our Development and Support teams to achieve a smooth, butter-like consistency to all our deploys. In this position, you'll work as part of the Product Development team, communicating constantly with technical leads and project managers to determine build schedules and CVS tagging/branching requirements. You'll be constantly improving the process, sometimes building tools to make things flow easier, sometimes organizing the team to work harmoniously together.
Responsibilities: Manage and improve the build and deploy processes for all product channels Handle all CVS manipulation, branching and tagging, for all teams Work with technical leads and project managers to establish build needs Develop tools or scripts to assist the build process Manage product deploys
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline 3-5 years in Build/Deployment Management Solid scripting/administration experience in UNIX/Linux environments Experience using CVS or other source code management tools Great communication skills, both spoken and written
