We use the hippest toolset around - Apache and JBoss on Linux. The Sports team is looking for well-rounded developers who know how to create robust high-volume production applications.
As a Java Developer on our team, your role will be to develop server-side code for web based applications for both internal and external use. Are you an experienced, passionate and energetic developer?

What You'll Be Doing… Gathering requirements with end users and other internal stakeholders. Designing, developing and testing existing/new features. Involved in each stage of the development life cycle. Working hard and having fun with team/technical leads and other fellow Java guru's developing the coolest, most complex, scalable solutions for our Sports applications.
The Ideal Candidate… BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent desired. 2-5 years of server-side Java/J2EE development experience. Strong Java skills and object oriented design experience, including working knowledge of core libraries, design patterns, JSP and servlets. Experience in database design and SQL; DB2 and MySQL a plus. Significant development experience in a Unix/Linux environment. Experience with Javascript, and SOAP desired. Knowledge of session management, object relational mapping, XML web services, and agile development methodologies desired. Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills. Sense of humor (YES that's a requirement) Demonstrated knowledge of version control tools (eg. CVS, SVN) Ability to work both collaboratively and with limited supervision. Ability to cope with fast-paced and constantly changing environments.
