Our client a group of companies is a New Zealand technology success story, with a strong domestic presence and a substantial global network with operations in Australia, USA, Canada, UK, and spreading into Europe. The support of their customers in both the domestic and off-shore regions is a 24x7 business undergoing significant growth based on strong teams based in the Auckland Head Office. As the global uptake of products and services grows, the opportunity has arisen to build a truly global support organisation - one which provides follow-the-sun support and which delivers services to the full range of customers. This group of companies is creating a new role - Global Customer Support Manager - to lead this growth. It will take an exceptional individual to fill this position - an individual who can show that he or she is able to offer: ·Leadership of a team of 15 direct reports providing support services on a 24x7 basis, and coordination of over 20 other people around the world. ·Development of innovative support offerings and management of a range of commercial and contractual relationships ·Implementation of specific offerings and structures to meet the needs of the largest customers - both in New Zealand and off-shore ·Strong focus on effective integration with development, implementation, sales, and delivery organizations within the group ·Exceptional communication skills - both verbally and in writing ·Strong customer relationship management skills and a dedication to customer satisfaction The right candidate will likely have: ·Over 5 years experience as a leader in technology services and/or applications support ·Exceptional communication and customer relationship skills ·Excellent financial awareness and a strong commercial drive ·Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field is preferred ·ITIL qualifications would be advantageous To register your interest please contact Jan Hogg Telephone (09) 630 8811 Mobile 025 868 248 Email jan@ritefit.co.nz
