Description | The successful candidate will manage a team of Quality Assurance Specialists to define, document and test new and enhanced processes and system solutions. The role will also be responsible for ensuring that the resulting development of business solutions (including system design, development, process documentation and user training) meets the defined business requirements, by working in partnership with IT developers and key business clients.
To be considered for this position you must have demonstrated the ability to:
·Lead a team of quality assurance specialists
·Facilitate the definition of new and enhanced processes and software functionality, including mapping and documenting the defined and agreed business processes
·Review proposed process and application designs to ensure compliance to requirements
·Develop and implement test plans
·Plan and co-ordinate user acceptance testing
·Understand the software development lifecycle and interact with software development teams
·Perform analysis of defects and software processes to improve overall quality
·Understand the configuration management and deployment process
·Effectively communicate verbal and written information to internal customers (sales and marketing) and external customers (clients and prospects)
·Demonstrate personal drive to increase knowledge and skills
·Have a desire to develop and work in a process driven environment
·Display initiative and independence within a team environment
Required competencies:
·Relevant tertiary qualifications
·Team management and leadership characteristics
·Previous experience in Health IT or EAI software industry is an advantage
