Description | Application Support Specialist
The successful candidate will provide world-class customer focused support and serve as a primary contact for clients who experience service interruptions or seek technical advice on Products. The primary role of the Application Support Specialist is to logically analyse and resolve problems related to the Software Products.
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:
· Strong client focus and genuine desire to assist
· Able to think logically and analytically in a problem solving environment
· Ability to deliver quality solutions to clients to provide excellent support services
· Ability to learn new skills quickly and be adaptable to new technologies
· Willing to do after hours on call support.
· Knowledge of HTML, Internet Protocols, networking, Windows (all versions), SQL and HL7.
· Knowledge of Java and a programming background is an advantageous bonus.
· Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
