Sales and Business Development Manager-Auckland

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced sales/business development professional to help us convert

the large number of sales leads and prospects we have into licensed customers.



ELIGIBILITY

The successful applicant must meet the following criteria:

? A New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or holder of a valid New Zealand work visa

? 5+ years proven sales/business development experience in a technology or software

environment

? Has a relevant degree or tertiary qualification from a r ecognised establishment2



JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary function of this role is to convert the large number of sales leads being generated

globally, into active, successful and growing customers.

? Follow-up leads and prospects to close sales and generate revenue in line with agreed

KPIs

? Build strong relationships and networks with our target customers

? Grow the product and consultancy customer base internationally

? Generate new prospects and sales leads

? Organise and deliver compelling product presentations either face-to-face or via Skype

? Create a market scope and company assessment based on potential value, opportunity

and geographical ranking

? Ensure up to date technical knowledge and up-skill where necessary

? Assist with collecting feedback about the product and client needs

? Assist the team in growing the brand by recognising and creating

opportunities to increase and strengthen the brand reputation

? Assist the team in creating marketing material and opportunities

? Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times



PERSON DESCRIPTION

What we’re looking for is someone with the following characteristics:

? Has experience in selling technical products within an on-line environment< o:p>

? Has a knowledge of telecommunications and utility industries

? Has worked within the IT industry or within an IT environment within

telecommunications and utilities

? Preferably has some knowledge of Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and asset

management systems

? Must be proactive and self-motivated

? Can function effectively under pressure

? Must be able and willing to travel for business

? Exhibits excellent communication skills, and is able to communicate professionally with

senior management

? Has an ability to present to both technical teams and management

? Someone who fits in well with our team and wants to make a real contribution
