Our client a leading software company who develop products in both NZ and Australia, are seeking a Delphi developer for their Auckland office.
Key Responsibilities include:
Following the development strategy and policy documents, analysing and identifying risk at every stage. Adding input into their content as part of an evolving development strategy.
Provide assistance with development scheduling and adding input into the estimation phase of each software project.
Working towards a goal of constant improvement in our software development strategies and procedures
Learning new tools and software engineering methodologies as required, and demonstrating the knowledge of these tools and methodologies as directed by management.
Staying in touch with technology by use of magazines, internet and general news.
Assisting other programmers when necessary.
Requirements:
Delphi programming experience including database applications (minimum 3 yrs)
Knowledge of programming in the Windows operating system environment using a variety of technologies.
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Have excellent levels of communication, both written and verbal.
Knowledge of business processes or accounting would be advantageous.
Salary is dependent on experience.
