On the accounting side we want you to carve up results on a monthly basis and make recommendations that will impact at a tactical business level. There is good opportunity to stretch your analytical capabilities and impact business processes and there are plenty of projects to get involved in.

To make this role yours, you'll obviously need to be an experienced and very sharp management accountant with some good solid inventory exposure or knowledge. There is expectation that your excel skills would be at a very advanced level. Whilst we are looking for a specific skill set it's your personal attributes that will win on the day. It's vital that you are a good influencer who can build rapport and communicate with all levels. We really mean that, in this role you will interact from top to bottom within the company.
You will report directly to the Managing Director and you will make a senior level contribution to the hands on financial operations of this business. You must have:

A Chartered Accountancy qualification with min of 5 years NZ experience.
Experience in providing sound financial information for the management team
Ability to manage priorities for 'hands on' responsibilities
Strong skills in financial analysis for cash flow and forecasting

Reporting to the Managing Director you will be proven in your ability to step up when required and communicate effectively and efficiently to the wider business. You will take ownership and responsibility for the financial and management accounting functions including one staff member.
