Quality Team Lead

Description
The Quality Team Lead is responsible for evaluating and reporting on the quality of software products.. This includes developing test plans, setting test schedules, assigning test plans, and clearly communicating results so that the entire team can improve the products and fulfill business objectives. The successful candidate will work with the rest of the QA team as well as software developers to ensure that our products are rigorously tested and consistent value is delivered to our users.
What You'll Be Doing…
Review requirements and designs
Develop comprehensive test plans that explain the test strategy for a project
Prioritize and assign tasks to team (e.g., executing test plans, running test cases, investigating bug reports, etc.)
Set test schedules and communicate schedules to stakeholders
Support testers by reviewing work and providing feed
Report on test lifecycle progress
Alert team to emerging issues and concerns
Work with the QA Manager and QA Process Analyst to improve QA processes
Motivate, excite, and engage the team
The Ideal Candidate…
Bachelors degree in either Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
2-3 years experience in software QA
1-2 years experience in a QA lead role
Capable of juggling irregular objects and breathing fire. Demos will be required during your interviews.
Ability to work within, teach, and improve multiple software development lifecycle processes
Demonstrated experience leading and motivating teams
Spectacular communication and interpersonal skills
This position is ideal for someone looking to contribute energy, technical know-how and responsibility to a high-speed development environment. Ability to play the straight man in classic stand-up routines is a Definite Bonus.
