Sales Executive For a leading software product company Entrepreneurial company Channels across Australasia Auckland based The Sales Executive will have broad experience within the IT arena, working alongside key business partners to expand its value proposition to companies by offering 'value add' software and services. In collaboration with the Management Team they will help to develop and implement the Sales Strategy and aide marketing efforts. The role includes Business Development and Account Management requiring sound business acumen and the ability to relate well to clients' business objectives and requirements. Understand the clients, industry/market sectors, overall business objectives, budgets, procurement processes, time scales and impact of changes. Developing long term commercial relationships and moving into new Australasian channels will be a key component of this role. Essential Core Technical Skills and Knowledge Relevant Sales and Account Management experience 5+ years IT Industry Sales experience. Leadership/Management experience. Understanding of the application of technology in a business environment. Excellent presentation skills Ability to communicate business impacts of complex technical issues to both technical and non technical stakeholders Financial awareness Communications Skills - Excellent written and verbal communication Customer Focus - Exceeds the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers Motivational Skills/Achievement driven - Drive for Results: Can be counted on to achieve and/or exceed goals successfully.
