Due to growth our client is looking for a Senior Developer to assist in the development of new software applications and the improvement of existing ones. The main objective of this position is to play a lead role in the development, deployment and support of software across the business. Working within a dedicated software team you will assist in the creation of system designs that meet stakeholders requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong level of experience in this area who can follow industry best practices and build robust applications. The following is needed: C#.NET SQL Server Can demonstrate experience at a top level Experience with UML software modelling RUP software development methodologies Research and Developement or Manufacturing experience wqould be a plus 5 years experience Strong business communication skills (preferably english as a first language) Manufacturing experience would be ideal Due to the nature of our business the ability to be flexible and understanding of the workings of a manufacturing environment is important as we are not a standard software development house. This role will significantly interact with hardware and engineering groups to which the nature of projects can alter in how the software application talks to the hardware and therefore the requirements of the software developers. We would like to speak with people who have the ability to mentor others within the group and may have some architecture experience to add value. Salary will based on experience and level of leadership skills.
