Role: To administer and maintain Java systems. Responsibilities: Monitor and maintain critical systems, and drive troubleshooting and tuning Handle first- and second-tier resolution of production issues and alerts Understand all infrastructure components, in order to analyze impact of alarms and other system messages Work with external teams to diagnose complex problems and drive resolutions Complete tasks required to maintain service levels and availability of all site features and functions Provide on-call support Required experience: BSc/MSc in Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent Two - four years software development or support experience Extensive working exposure to Core Java applications/products Preferably worked in one of the following areas: network programming, multi-threaded programming, distributed computing - RMI/JMS, JSP/Servlets Should have hands-on experience with PL/SQL programming Proficiency/experience in working on Unix/Linux Excellent analytical skills Remuneration: Excellent, according to experience + benefits and performance linked bonus.
