Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform day-to-day systems administration tasks on Windows 2000 and 2003 server systems Monitoring and maintenance of the equipment using vendor-specific management tools. Alerting. Rapid deployment of servers using vendor-specific technologies (HP SmartStart) Performance tuning Reporting and summarizing key performance indicators Installation and configuration of IIS or Apache, and various software Remotely install software updates, patches, antivirus signatures etc. Remote rebooting. Antivirus/Antispyware management. Education and Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Skills/Qualities 2-4 years of Industry experience administering and maintaining headless Windows servers in a high-availability datacenter.
