You will have development experience yourself! You need to have worked on projects using project management processes based on Prince 2 and implemented using the Rational Unified Process (RUP). You will also have experience of ITIL and will have worked on Oracle and Solaris projects previously. Please note that development experience on any/all of these technologies will be beneficial and needs to be noted on your CV! You will understand relationships of key players & devise appropriate responses, to include the ability to maintain an open mind, understand & integrate diverse information from diverse sources & process this into creative and realistic concepts, programme processes and solutions.
