Essential Duties and Responsibilities Report to and assist the Head of Delivery in total delivery of nominated products/solutions Implement best in breed project management techniques (no specific methodology required, but a broad and in depth experience) Maintain the software project management process for the defined products/solutions in a portfolio Plan and prioritize with the rest of the Delivery team members your sub-set of software projects/solutions Plan, prioritize and co-ordinate in a diverse matrix environment with the relevant "consumer-producers" on the portfolio of solutions Be single point of accountability for Delivery. Manage the project from business perspective Education and Experience 5+ years of software project management experience Trained in project management techniques Graduate, preferably in IT related stream (Computer science, networking etc) but not limited to this if relevant experience Preference to either e-commerce or financial services background/experience Skills/Qualities Positive, pro-active attitude with a will to deliver things quickly Ability to work under pressure Excellent analytical skills to analyse and fix problems quickly Excellent communication skills, in English. Experience in a Linux/J2EE/Oracle environment is strongly preferred. Other (if required) To be based in Gibraltar. Willing and able to travel to India. Need a very technically aware candidate. A Manager/Manager is not required. In fact ideal candidates would be Architects who have extensive PM experience. Remuneration £50k - £70k per annum, depending on experience NZD $135k - $190K Must have British passport or EU
