New Zealand's leading ready mix concrete company, are seeking a Manager for their Hamilton Branch. The role of manager will reflect the need for the successful candidate to encompass an increased emphasis on customer relations, administration, staff management and occupational safety & health. Their Hamilton operation has grown over the past 3 years and is now considered one of their larger operations. This role has a strong emphasis on sales in a market that has the potential to continue to grow. We also operate a Concrete Shop which displays and sells decorative concrete products and equipment used by the general concrete industry. The manager is responsible for the following: Ensuring that day to day customer requirements are met through an efficient dispatch operation. Ensuring a close working relationship is established and maintained with all suppliers. Maintaining a regular relationship with existing customers, promoting the company to prospective customers and looking ahead for opportunities that may be relevant to the company in the greater Waikato area. Maintaining a close working relationship with staff and ensuring all vehicles are maintained at a high level The successful applicant must be capable of responding to a wide range of demands in a challenging market environment.
