Due to significant growth our client is seeking a motivated person to manage the process of taking their software from source code into a packaged product. The position would suit a recent graduate of an IT qualification who is interested in software development, as the role would also include the administration and configuration of the software development infrastructure. In this position, the successful applicant will take responsibility for: Creating installation packages for our software products Administering and configuring build machines. Ensuring regular builds are running correctly and providing software to the quality assurance team for testing. Maintaining and configuring software packages used during the development process (eg: bug tracking software, management software, QA software, source control repositories) Maintaining and configuring other development servers as required. The successful applicant will possess: Strong IT skills and knowledge of hardware and software (including Windows and Linux) Solid research and communication skills A strong willingness and ability to learn Strong problem solving and analysis skills Knowledge of ant and other build technologies would be an advantage And be highly team-oriented.
