You will report to the Area Manager. As a Project Manager your responsibilities will include, Complying with Company procedures and policies.The overall contract programme.Reviewing each contract and preparing the project quality plan, programmes, methodologies and HSiE compliance.Traffic management plans.Instruct the Expediting / Resource Officer to obtain or confirm quotations from suppliers and Sub-Contractors. Placing orders and or sub-contracts for contracts awarded. Managing the progress of the project. Supervising Sub-Contractors. Ensuring the project is adequately resourced. Ensuring the project is completed on time, on budget, to quality and at a profit. Resourcing and hiring additional plant for the project. Project reporting and making monthly progress claims. Approving invoices. Ensuring the sites comply with the HSiE Act and are safe. Preparing the site or project specific Q A plan. Complying with our clients Quality Assurance system. Completing accident records / investigations and notification to OSH of any accidents.Obtaining necessary certificates from consultants including but not limited to substantial completion, maintenance and final progress claim certificate. Ensuring daily job diaries are kept for all works. To attend meetings as required . Any other requirements to bring the project to a successful conclusion. Any other duties required from time to time from within the organisation. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and experience. Civil Engineering Tertiary level qualification. Practical experience in civil engineering/project work. Intermediate level computer skills. Current drivers licence.
