To excel in this role you will require a solid background in residential estimating in New Zealand as well as an understanding of building legislation including NZ 3604:1999.You will posses excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be computer literate with strong skills in Excel. Also an understanding is required of the laws of estimating and any violation of building council codes.
