Our client a well-established and respected family owned business is seeking to appoint an Estimating Manager in their Tenders Department.They specialise in roading construction, civil engineering, subdivision and drainage contracting.You will be required to actively participate in ensuring the Company is able to achieve the maximum amount of market share. Your duties will be varied and interesting and involve management of the Sales, Tender and Estimating Team to support the Auckland region. You will be required to support the Management team in work identification, tender preparation and submissions to win work in the Auckland Region. Preparing commercially acceptable bids, handover project files, attending all pre-construction and project completion meetings and keeping tender team informed as to the outcome. Ideally you will hold a tertiary level qualification in Quantity surveying, and have project management skills with strong local knowledge, and hold advanced level computer skills with experience in project management type software. You will have excellent communication skills both written and orally, proven organizational skills, well-developed interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, analytical and have superior management abilities.
