Enterprise Technical Architect. An opportunity to set the standards and design the solutions, from enteprise level right through the projects at an established company with an enviable list of high profile customers. The position is for an individual experienced in the establishment and management of architecture driven enterprise IT services, technical and operational lead in development projects and refinement of development processes. The ability to deal with application integration at the enterprise level as well as technical architecture at the project level is essential. Equally important is the ability to make decisions, organize and motivate team members and focus on achievement of target business and technical objectives. Previous experience of enterprise architecture design and a software development history is a must. Ideally the candidate will have a track record as an architect within medium to large-scale corporate environments with an understanding of integration tools and their usage. The position will be part of the management team with responsibility to the directors for defining and implementing a standard of ‘operational excellence’ within our technical working environment. It is envisioned that this will be through organizing, leading and mentoring technical architects, defining development work practices, evaluating and recommending technology and implementing appropriate tools and techniques.
