Our client, a New Zealand owned software development company, is seeking a Group Financial Controller to join their Finance Team. Reporting to the CFO, and as a key member of the team you will be responsible for preparing the group accounting, consolidation and reporting requirements in a timely and efficient manner. This role would ideally suit a qualified Accountant with strong financial accounting skills and a background in Chartered Accounting, who is looking to make the first move after 5+ years, or have gained group level exposure within a major corporate in the commercial environment. You will need excellent communication and Excel skills and the ability to deal with tight deadlines. Duties will include: Assist in the monthly/quarterly consolidation of the Group. Prepare and consolidate the annual budget and three-year plan. Assist in the preparation of the Group Annual Report and Group Half-Year Report. Assist in the preparation of management reports to the Board of Directors and the Group Executive. Prepare presentations concerning the Group's half yearly and annual results. Assist in the formulation of the Group accounting policies. Assist in the development and implementation of reporting systems to obtain consolidated results of all Group companies. Assist in the implementation, ongoing maintenance and enhancement of new systems. Assist in special projects and investigations as required.
