Our client is a progressive, rapidly expanding New Zealand-owned Company and a world leader in the development of high-performance crystal and oscillator electronic components. They are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to develop and implement manufacturing processes for new products from the prototype phase to volume production, to identify and implement cost effective improvements to manufacturing processes and to ensure that manufacturing processes comply with customer, company, and specified international quality standards Duties include: Taking prototype process designs and develop them into robust volume production processes utilising techniques such as D for M and FMEA. Identifying capital, jig, and tooling requirements for manufacturing processes. Monitoring the manufacturing processes and make changes for improvement. Identifying and Implement SPC/PAT/SYA on manufacturing processes to maintain processes in a state of control. Identifying and implement MSA studies on manufacturing test equipment. Providing training to manufacturing staff in SPC/PAT/SYA. Maintaining the Manufacturing Quality Management Systems. Investigating causes of personal injury resulting from contact with high voltage communications equipment. Ensuring that measurements of quality such as reject rate, rework rate and COPQ are available. Be a team leader/member of cross-functional APQP and PIT teams. Performing manufacturing process quality audits. Requirements: Tertiary qualification in electronics or electronics manufacturing with at least 2 years experience; Production management, or team leading in electronics industry; Process engineering in a related industry.
