Our client is a progressive, rapidly expanding New Zealand-owned Company and a world leader in the development of high-performance crystal and oscillator electronic components. They are seeking an Electronics Engineer to make changes in production processes and methods to achieve improvements in yield, efficiency and quality. The ideal candidate will hold a degree or certificate in electronics or electronics manufacturing and have the following experience: Production management or team leading in electronics industry, Quality Engineering/ Process Engineering experience in a related industry, Electronics Project/Design Engineer or Technician experience. Duties will include: To provide process-engineering support to production through active participation. Participate in, and lead Continuous Improve activities. Provide support to team leaders to ensure that processes are under control. To provide process engineering innovation and implementation to new product introduction projects including techniques such as design for manufacture and failure mode and effects analysis. To act as a mentor, provide training and skill development to junior process engineers. To be expert at soldering & all electronics assembly processes.
