(Manufacturing) Our client is a progressive, rapidly expanding New Zealand-owned Company and a world leader in the development of high-performance crystal and oscillator electronic components. They are seeking Electrical and Electronic Equipment Assemblers to ensure the smooth and efficient production of their products to achieve delivery in full and on time, within specification as defined by the design, the quality plan and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in precision products and assembly work. You will also have the following attributes: Good verbal and written communication, systematic, logical problem solving, sensitive to other cultures, self motivated, good eyesight, flexible, independent worker and have an understanding of quality and technical improvement tools. Duties will include assembly type tasks eg. hand processing using tweezer type work and fine detail / product handling, and soldering using METCAL, HACCO soldering irons.
