Our client is a progressive, rapidly expanding New Zealand-owned Company and a world leader in the development of high-performance crystal and oscillator electronic components. They are seeking an experienced individual to make changes in production processes and methods to enable the introduction of new products. The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications and experience: A degree or certificate in Mechanical Engineering with experience in production management or team leading in a manufacturing industry, project management, quality engineering/process engineering in a related industry as well as design of experiment expertise. Key responsibilities will be: To provide process-engineering support to production through active participation. Participate in, and lead Continuous Improvement activities. Provide support to team leaders to ensure that processes are under control. To provide process engineering innovation and implementation to new product introduction projects including techniques such as design for manufacture and failure mode and effects analysis.
