Our client, a leader in the finance industry, is seeking a Systems Specialist to join their talented group of individuals. The successful candidate will be providing support and maintenance to many of their most critical IT services. You will have excellent investigative skills, be able to demonstrate your initiative on a regular basis, and have proven documentation ability. To be considered for this role you will display the following attributes: MCSE in NT or 2000, server builds and configuration including clustering, a working knowledge of Microsoft SQL server, hardware and software upgrades, sound planning and analysis fundamentals, an understanding of networking concepts, be able to cope with high pressure situations as well as excellent verbal and written communication. This role will suit someone with excellent customer and team focus who enjoys the pressure of supporting, implementing and improving critical systems. There is also a rostered on call aspect to the role.
